New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinatorfor one of our clients in the Houston, TX area.
Your Responsibilities May Include:
•Deliver Supply Chain Management (SCM) services:
•Key Interface - function as key liaison for assigned categories to provide active solutions to business needs.
•Strategy Development & Plan - lead development of sourcing strategies and tactical execution plan for assigned categories.
•Review key category & market factors to determine optimal sourcing strategy
•Develop work plans and landmark schedules
•Integrate plans and schedules with business needs to enable on-time execution.
•Identify and participate in continuous improvement and market intelligence practices to drive efficiencies and cost reductions.
•Sourcing/ Negotiating / Contracting / SRM:
•SOURCING - develop bid tenders & negotiation templates and lead efforts to solicit commercial offerings. Lead ad hoc and emergency requirements.
•CONTRACTING - negotiate and maintain contractual terms and conditions utilizing Master Service Agreements (MSA's), Purchase Orders (PO's), Outline Agreements (OLA's) and other contractual terms and conditions as necessary
•SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers including "Field Improvement Team" (FIT) meetings. Work with suppliers to ensure R2P system functions properly.
Basic/Required Qualifications:
•3 years of experience in supply chain management
•Intermediate level of proficiency conducting RFP's, sourcing evaluations, and post-award contract management
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
