Job description
NTL Biotech provides state-of-the-art medical laboratory tests and related services in the Midwest regions of the United States through our Central Laboratory Processing Center.
Operations Technician
- Assembly and Packaging: Operations Technicians are responsible for assembly and/or packaging activities. This includes tasks such as loading machines, checking materials, pouching and inspecting different aspects of assembled devices.
- Troubleshoot new or existing product issues involving designs, materials or processes.
- Investigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecks.
- Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.
- Following SOPs and GMPs: They follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practieces (GMPs) to ensure high-quality production.
- Laboratory Safety: Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols is essential.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills and handling laboratory equipment.
Job type: Part-time 30 hours/week
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Qualifications
· High School or Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
· Ability to adapt to new technologies used in molecular biological research and diagnostics.
· Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and data analysis software preferred.
