JOB DESCRIPTION :
All tags and labeling is transferred to new containers. Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for 5S
- Responsible to manage dock doors of materials being received
- Transfer product to correct locations and make correct labels using RF scanner
- Keep the Tool Crip & Engineer carts flowing between East & West Receiving
- Sort and wrap empty totes
- Verify bar codes, labels and quantity
- Cover dock area s during their breaks / lunch if needed
- Be versatile to be trained in our other job assignments to cover during vacation / OA days
- Communication during shift change about pertinent information
- Any other duties assigned by team leader or supervisor
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES :
- 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous reach truck or sit down fork lift experience preferred
- Self-starter
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills
- Good problem solving skills
- High School Diploma
