The Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Creative Director to lead our talented team of designers, writers, and strategists. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be a strategic thinker with a strong creative flair and the ability to inspire and drive creative excellence across all projects. We are looking for a team player to be the creative force behind new projects. This is a global search to find an amazing creative talent who loves to produce outstanding work. Beyond being driven, adaptable, detail oriented, and a team builder, and also have a dynamic personality and excellent client-facing skills.

The position is a hybrid with studios in NY / LA / SF.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7 years of experience working with agencies, high-profile clients, and brands in the film/video post-production field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work and successful campaigns.
  • Skills: Exceptional design and conceptual skills, strong understanding of branding and marketing, excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to clearly and effectively share creative visions and goals with the team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, C4D and Affect Effects.
  • Experience with Nuke, Maya, Adobe Premier and Avid.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D workflows.
  • Experience with Houdini and RedShift is a plus.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a creative team, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide clear feedback to artists.

Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Supervise shoots when necessary.
  • Bring excitement and passion to work that helps creatively inspire others.
  • Collaborate on projects with other Ntropic offices.
  • Act as a vital link between the client, production and creative teams.
  • Concept Development: Drive the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring all work aligns with client objectives and brand strategies.
  • Visualize and design style and structure of pitches and projects while working with client expectations, budget and scheduling requirements.
  • Assemble treatments that clearly outline creative ideas for clients.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage client satisfaction and promote ongoing relationship.
  • Bidding briefs and presenting work at a high level to clients.
  • Brand Strategy: Develop and execute brand strategies that resonate with target audiences and achieve business goals.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of all creative output, ensuring it meets high standards of excellence and consistency.
  • Maintain the quality of work being produced in the studio by ensuring all projects meet or exceed high creative standards.
  • Provide guidance for casting/script editing, shot composition, shot selection and editing
  • Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends and integrate fresh, innovative ideas into our creative processes.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets and timelines effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
