SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Reviews and prepares customer orders and bills of lading for incoming material to plan work activities.
• Follows company operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of material, shipping quality and maintaining warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Coordinating international and domestic logistics, when required.
• Coordinate pickups/deliveries for company owned truck.
• Directs reclamation of damaged merchandise.
• Enters material location to SAP.
• Produces delivery notes for customer orders from SAP.
• Places orders for warehouse supplies.
• Inspects physical conditions of warehouse, vehicles and equipment and order testing, maintenance, repair, or replacement as necessary.
• Assist with tracking inventory/inventory documentation/cycle counts/inventory transactions of accepted NTS Amega West and Tubacex owned property.
• Write purchase orders to subcontract suppliers with approval from productions manager.
• Other responsibilities as defined in QHSE Management System or special projects assigned by supervisor.
• Maintains good housekeeping in and around the warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 – 5 years' previous experience preparing shipments and paperwork for international and domestic shipments through a 3rd party freight forwarder in oil and gas - manufacturing facility. -PREFERRED
• 2 – 5 years' experience with forklift operation, specifically with pipe. -PREFERRED
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to operate computer programs ("e.g." Microsoft Office/Excel/SAP) necessary for NTS Amega West’s day to day functions.
• Requires good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to use good judgment and have an understanding of supply management and inventory.
• Ability to perform in a (fast-paced) team-oriented environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials, to promote safety, and prevent injuries.
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends for special program events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
