Nuage has partnered with an award winning large enterprise. That are now rapidly scaling there SRE Practice, and are looking to build a brand new Squad from the ground up. We have roles from Junior, Mid and Senior level SREs.

About the roles

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) we are looking for multiple people and at various levels to join the clients scaling and distributed team. As an SRE, you will be working some of the countries best engineers, working on ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of their core infrastructure while tackling the challenges of scale head-on. This role offers an exciting opportunity to not only showcase your experience but also learn and lean on experts within the business across SRE/DevOps practices across Kubernetes, Service Mesh using Istio, MLOps, depth in coding, and Linux administration to drive innovation and excellence to the clients day to day projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of our core infrastructure, with a focus on system capacity, stability, and cost optimisation.

- Build automated operational solutions for large-scale systems, collaborating closely with system development teams to ensure reliability throughout the system lifecycle. Driving orchestration using Kubernetes, Istio and MLOps

- Design and implement software platforms and monitoring frameworks for efficient, automated, and intelligent governance of service-oriented architectures (SOA).

- Participate in the design and implementation of an automation platform to facilitate rapid iteration of online large-scale clusters.

Requirements:

• Depth in SRE/DevOps roles with a strong understanding of best practices, following the Google SRE model.
• Strong Coding experience in least one language such as Python or Golang
• Solid background in Linux administration skills, storage, NetworkIO
• Experience in designing, building and implementing multistage CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working with a real-time system would be of a huge advantage
• A strong understanding of Big Data would be held in high regard.
