About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for building APIs with NodeJS, managing infrastructure, and spearheading the development of a new self-managed Kubernetes platform. Experience in the payments sector is a huge bonus, and exposure to DevOps practices, especially Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and orchestration, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs using NodeJS.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure.
• Lead the build-out of a self-managed Kubernetes platform.
• Implement DevOps practices including IaC, CI/CD, and orchestration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience in API development with NodeJS.
• Exposure to the payments sector (a huge bonus).
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, particularly with CDK, IaC, CI/CD, and Kubernetes orchestration, is required.
• Experience with TypeScript, ReactJS, NEXT, and NEST.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
