Nucar Allentown is seeking an experienced Service Manager to run our Service department. The perfect candidate will have experience in the position of Service Manager or similar positions in the automotive industry.

Requirements:

• Must have previous management experience within a high performing auto repair shop or preferably a dealership
• A strong record of positive customer satisfaction results and sales success
• A competitive desire to achieve goals and exceed expectations
• Self - confidence and motivation to run a shop with a high-level of quality output and still maintain great customer satisfaction
• A friendly personality to represent our company's high standard of ethics and values
• Fantastic communication skills with our customers and team members
• Professional attitude, must be team oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to manage the shop
• Must have the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment and multitask
• Highest level of integrity, passion to succeed, and willingness to grow, learn and train as needed by OEM or dealership

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train advisors for success
• Review and assist with closing repair orders
• Set monthly targets for service employees along with plans on how to achieve goals set
• Maintain manufacturer relationships by properly processing claims, minimizing receivables and ensuring that service employees are certified
• Ensure our service employees work in a clean and safe environment
• Understands, keeps current and knowledgeable, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service-related operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Make sure all customer vehicles are fully repaired and service according to OEM/ dealership standards and within agreed upon time frames
• Communicate to clients regarding the repairs and any additional work needed
• To provide guidance and training to the team to improve their performance and to ensure that all technicians are doing their jobs effectively and confidently working as a team
• To monitor and ensure the completion of all service and repair paperwork is completed promptly
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all service department staff
• Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory; monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys.
• Attends managers meetings; holds weekly department meetings; Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments.
• Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
• Other duties may be assigning as needed by upper management
