Basic Job Functions :

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Build structural parts as specified per drawing or print.
• Weld steel structural parts as specified per drawing or print.
• Operating flip rite.
• Operating transfers and conveyors.
• Operating cutting torch and arc gouger.

Minimum Qualifications :

WQ1 (2G) weld certification

• Can read tape measure
• Previous crane certification
• Good attendance record
