Basic Job Functions:
- Work closely with business partners to collect product (application) needs and document them as acceptance criteria within Feature documents
- Represent these needs to the development teams in order for them to create user stories and sprint plans
- Work with the architecture teams to develop an overall product vision
- Ensure that the development team always has a planned and prioritized team story backlog
- Provide leadership for PI and sprint planning sessions
- Communicate with other Product owners and Scrum Masters to ensure that dependencies and risks are well planned for
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Lead UAT / product feedback sessions with the business users and capture new ideas or gaps
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
- Work closely with Product Management Team(s) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value
- Lead the team level planning of product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for a product
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
- Business Analysis and/or Project Manager and/or Product Owner experience [1 ] year(s)
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with a vision
