Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Phlebotomy- Must have working experience
• Collects patient specimens.
• Takes patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
• Gives injections and applies dressings as applicable.
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Manages referrals and prior authorizations.
• Assists physician in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• Administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).

- Proficient in performing X-rays and operating X-ray equipment as well as Phlebotomy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and regulations.

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.

- Strong computer skills for electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
