Job SummaryThe Cardiovascular Tech will be responsible for assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases. The Cardiovascular Tech will perform a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures, including electrocardiograms, stress tests, and echocardiograms. The Cardiovascular Tech will also be responsible for monitoring patients during procedures and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures, including electrocardiograms, stress tests, and echocardiograms
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases
- Record and maintain patient information and test results
- Communicate with patients and their families about procedures and test results
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Certification as a Cardiovascular Tech
- Experience working in a cardiovascular lab or hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
