Full Job Description
HIRING for the Pottstown PA area. Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation.
Home Care Aide/Direct Care Worker Requirements:
- No experience necessary, will train the right candidate.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States to apply.
- Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
- Must have valid auto insurance and be able to provide proof.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and testing.
- Must have a completed two-step PPD/tuberculosis test, or blood Quantiferon test prior to starting.
- Must be kind, caring, and patient.
- Must be able to read and write in the English language.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Home Care Aide/Direct Care Worker Responsibilities:
- Travel to a patient's home and help assist them with tasks such as bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, companionship, and more.
- Care Workers may be responsible for running errands and grocery shopping.
- Care Workers are responsible to help assist with mobility, such as assisting to and from the restroom, from bed to chair, and pushing clients in their wheelchairs.
- Workers must be able to complete visit documentation and reporting efficiently.
