General Purpose:

Bill and collect forMedicare Part A and Part B insurance, Medicaid, Hospice VA and Private Claimsfor a Skilled Nursing Home.

Essential Job Functions:

This facility expects their employees to promote an atmosphereof teamwork with other employees, hospitality, and comfort for its residents.Therefore, the following list of duties is not all-inclusive:

• Responsible for monthly Medicaid,Medicare, and other insurance billings along with timely follow-up withintermediaries on delinquent payments.
• Monitor and manage the accountsreceivable collection process.
• Pursue past due accounts persistentlyand maintain proper back-up documentation
• Obtain and submit all requireddocumentation to bill third party payers as per program/company guidelines.

Other Duties:

• Teaching and training on site asnecessary
• Participate in Month End Process

Minimum Qualifications:

• Business Degree or experience inhealth care facility; office management preferred.
• Organized and detailed in workperformance.
• Good communication skills withexcellent self-discipline and patience.
• Genuine caring for and interest inelderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
• Comply with the Residents’ Rights andFacility Policies and Procedures.
• Perform work tasks within thephysical demand requirements as outlined below.
• Perform Essential Duties as outlinedabove.
