Director of Nursing

NurseSpring® is seeking an RN Director of Nursing for home health for its Tallahassee, FL office. The Director of Nursing works with the patients, families, and nursing team and is ultimately responsible for the home healthcare patients.

Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for all clinical operations and supervision of clinical staff
• Interact with referring agencies and community organizations
• Perform client assessments, including pediatric cases
• Create and maintain written care plans and update care plans as needed
• Reconcile client charts
• Work shifts in the field as needed
• Adhere to state licensure laws and certification requirements.
• Work 2-3 homecare shifts per week initially, until volume increases (both adults and pediatrics)

Competencies:

• Current license as an RN - Registered Nurse
• 2 years Home Care Supervisory experience (skilled and unskilled)
• Superior customer service skills
• Communicate effectively
• Manage, resolve and prevent problems
• Listen, empower and anticipate
