Reporting to manger, Procurement Master Data, this position will lead the way in Procurement Data and Analytics, transforming how organizations use data to excel in procurement. Driven by innovation and dedicated to excellence, our goal is to maximize the potential of data to drive strategic decision-making, efficiency, agility, and success in procurement. With a focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement, we aim to redefine what's possible in procurement analytics, empowering organizations to navigate procurement challenges with confidence.
What You Will Do
  • Understand stakeholder requirements, recommend suitable solutions and collaborate with Data Services teams to construct unified databases.
  • Validate data requests for business value, priority, and duplicacy. Validate end results to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
  • Partner with Supply Chain groups to conduct data analysis and develop actionable dashboards, presenting recommendations for process enhancement.
  • Work closely with Procurement Systems and Governance teams on various initiatives, including S2C, P2P, taxonomy development, supplier risk, supplier tiers, and inventory dashboarding.
  • Navigate Nutrien hierarchy to recommend appropriate contacts and facilitate effective communication.
  • Gain insights into business processes to support stakeholders with analysis and data requirements.
  • Foster collaboration among analysts from different business units to share best practices and avoid duplicate efforts.
  • Provide training and education sessions on procurement data available in HANA, identifying skill gaps and recommending appropriate training.
  • Communicate changes to procurement data in unified database to Stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and build trust in its usage.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and recommending best approaches for dashboard and report development.
What You Will Bring
  • Excellent understanding of Supply Chain functions and processes, inclusive of source to pay process
  • Understanding of Taxonomies and UNSPSC, as well as Supplier Tiering.
  • Ability to normalize data from numerous data sources and analyze data
  • Excellent analytics experience, ability to look for trends, in data, and make recommendations
  • Market Intelligence background and knowledge is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of mining, chemicals and/or manufacturing industries
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities with various stakeholders
  • Self-Starter, motivated and driven individual.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong data and database fundamentals
    • Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, Excel.
    • Coding in R & Python
    • Proficient of SAP, Oracle, S4
    • Understanding of Cloud based CLM tools, specifically Ariba
    • Advanced MS Suite knowledge, inclusive of cloud systems (MS Forms, Power Automate, Excel, etc)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and Analytics
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Supply Chain or Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in developing test strategies, plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and data analytics preferred.
  • Prior experience in change management and mentoring is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range $79,600 - $124,300 annually. This range is estimated for Procurement Data and Analytics Specialist role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
