NutroTonic is a dietary supplements brand committed to bridging the gap between health care and sick care through natural solutions.

The combined role of Product Creation and Research Specialist & Quality Assurance Manager is a unique opportunity to lead both the development of new nutraceutical products and the management of quality assurance processes. This role requires extensive knowledge of the nutraceutical industry, strong research and analytical skills, and the ability to innovate formulations while ensuring the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product development and quality assurance within the nutraceutical or related industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Creation and Research Specialist:

  • Product Development:
  • Lead the end-to-end development of new nutraceutical products, focusing on innovative and high-quality formulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, pilot trials, and optimization of product formulations and processes.
  • Research and Innovation:
  • Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends, ingredients, and technologies within the nutraceutical industry.
  • Evaluate scientific literature and data to identify potential new ingredients and formulations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of innovative product ideas that align with market trends and consumer needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all product formulations comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Work closely with regulatory affairs to prepare necessary documentation and submissions.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure all products meet NutroTonic's high standards of quality and safety.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the product development and manufacturing process.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and effectively to maintain product integrity.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including SOPs, quality manuals, and audit reports.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product quality and production processes.
  • Collaborate with the production team to implement improvements and track their effectiveness.
  • Train and educate staff on quality assurance practices and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product development and quality assurance within the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for nutraceutical products.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret scientific data and apply it to product development and quality assurance.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for developing natural health products.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $61,676.00 - $67,657.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
