NV5 is currently recruiting for Assistant Reisdent Engineers / Lead Construction Inspectors in the Central Vally of California (Fresno, Visalia, Sacramento and Bakersfield), as well asvGreater Los Angeles Area, Inland Empire and San Diego.
Responsibilities
NV5 is looking for a Construction Inspector with 3 to 5 years field experience in public infrastructure, transit and aviation construction management is required.
Candidates with heavy civil transportation experience and knowledge and experience with Caltrans specifications are preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of contract documents to include but not limited to the Standard Plans and Specifications, varying types and methods of industry construction practices,
- State safety orders, traffic control, field office engineering techniques, effective communication, both written and verbal and negotiation skills with respect to internal and external clients.
- A minimum of three years of construction inspection experience is required

The pay range for this California position is $50.00- $80.00 per hour. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162.
Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
