About UsNwestco LLC has been a respected leader in the sales, service, and installation of Petroleum and Car Wash Equipment in the Northwest and Rockies region for over 25 years. We are currently seeking a dedicated and career-minded individual to join our team.
Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Environmental Technician to join our dynamic team.
Successful candidates should have knowledge of, or experience in, environmental sampling, laboratory analysis, a strong professional presence, and exceptional report writing skills. Entry level candidates may be considered and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
This is a full-time, field position in Spokane, WA and surrounding areas. Some of the open positions require travel, and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Biology, Geology, Chemistry, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar required.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Strong desire to learn quickly.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Responding to 24 hour emergency spill response calls.
  • Hazardous waste services, storage tank services, Environmental Site Audits.
  • Report writing, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, and project management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Other general environmental staff services as applicable and based on experience.

  • Location: Spokane, WA and surrounding areas
  • Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday with weekend availability
  • License: Valid driver’s license (required)
  • Travel: Some of the positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC
Pre-Employment RequirementsAll job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
