Position Overview: Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Licensed Land Surveyor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various survey types, including boundary, topographic, route, legal/sketches, plat, easements, and construction. This role requires both office-based tasks and occasional field visits for quality assurance and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee office and field crew staff.
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control field reviews.
  • Prepare proposals and assist field associates and drafting personnel.
  • Ensure the production of quality and timely deliverables.
  • Provide training to field and office staff on specific methods and procedures.
  • Promote a professional and collaborative work environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the surveying and mapping industry in Florida for both design and construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Terramodel and QGIS 3.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Preferred experience with LiDar, Geospatial, and Robotics technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • State of Florida PSM license.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass a drug test (Drug-Free Workplace).

Compensation:

  • Salary: $115,600 - $131,600, depending on experience.
