NY Apple One jobs is Hiring a Collections Specialist Near Rochester, NY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mitigating risk through the resolution of clients' past-due balances. This role ensures that a quality product is delivered to the branch and client in an accurate and timely manner and that all branches and clients receive a high degree of quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate risk by resolving clients' past-due balances.
  • Deliver a quality product to the branch and client accurately and timely.
  • Support branches and clients with a high degree of quality service.
  • Answer inbound calls to resolve past-due balances and meet daily collections and call goals.
  • Initiate calls to clients based on risk to resolve outstanding receivables.
  • Make decisions to release or hold at-risk accounts based on established policies and procedures.
  • Research EFT transactions returned from the bank to recollect funds owed by the client.
  • Evaluate high-risk accounts to determine if they need to be escalated to the internal collection agency.
  • Escalate client issues to appropriate departments to ensure timely collection on accounts.
  • Maintain daily call requirements based on the forecast provided to ensure standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in researching and resolving financial discrepancies.
  • Experience in a collections role is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
