NY Apple One jobs is Hiring an Insurance Representative Near Rochester, NY

Join our dynamic team at Insurance Agency Inc as an Insurance representative. You will be responsible for the daily processing, data entry, and validation of records, as well as the maintenance of new and existing insurance accounts. Your role will include providing outstanding customer service and support to both internal and external clients while ensuring the accuracy and security of confidential client information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry of confidential client information and ensure its security while loading files into company systems.
  • Initiate timely new account setup and process all documentation related to the setup and maintenance of new or existing accounts for Workers’ Compensation and other insurance lines.
  • Meet department quality and productivity standards concerning data input and established timelines.
  • Maintain required documents and records to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance regulations.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries via calls or emails and initiate outbound calls or emails to clients, insurance partners, and other offices as required by the business unit.
  • Research and resolve product and service-related issues from clients and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all internal and external communications for the accurate and timely setup, service, and maintenance of new or existing insurance accounts.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and internal and external partners to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Utilize multiple computer software applications in conjunction with carrier and bureau websites to perform job duties, including HRIS, WebORS, Core Advanced Payroll Application, and other Microsoft Access databases.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of payroll-generated reports and charges as they relate to all insurance products/services administered by Insurance Agency .
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation Payment Service Agreement and ensure new clients meet their obligations.
  • Participate in product-related projects or training sessions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; AAS in Management, Business, or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service/insurance-related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Versatility and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 per hour
