New York City Health and Hospitals is currently seeking a Full Time Dietitian Level II to join our dynamic team at Lincoln (Located in Downtown Bronx, only 1-2 subway stations away from Manhattan, 2 minutes walking time to the hospital from the subway station), a full service acute care hospital and one of the Premier Trauma Centers in the country.

The position will allow you the opportunity to maintain a program that assures that the patients are provided with quality and age appropriate Medical Nutrition Therapy consistent with the hospital policy and in accordance with the requirements of The Joint Commission, the DPH and other regulatory agencies, including but not limited to preforming nutrition assessment, diagnosing nutrition-related problems, implementing appropriate interventions, evaluating the outcomes of interventions, providing education to patients/caregivers/family and attending interdisciplinary team rounds. You will also have the opportunity to educate colleagues and act as a mentor to dietetic interns, students and Dietitian Level I.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or advance degree with a major in Nutrition or related field from an accredited college or university and successfully complete an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (A.N.D.) approved internship program or Master degree in Nutrition or related field preferred
• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian (RD) required.
• Prior 1 year in healthcare setting preferred but new grads welcome.
