Position Overview: The Fleet Coordinator provides excellent customer service, supports various fleet management activities including but not limited to; fleet preventive maintenance, scheduling/reservations, site tours/ drives. Additionally, the Fleet Coordinator will assist with departmental coverage and any other duties that may be assigned by their manager. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight on Vehicle and Equipment preventive maintenance and upkeep for all NYCEDC vehicles such as oil change, state inspections, fuel, wash, detailing, bodywork, and outfitting.
  • Invoice payments for various fleet related expense
  • Upkeep of spreadsheets for all fleet related services
  • Coordinates the scheduling of all fleet reservations.
  • Facilitates Verizon Connect Telematics installs and De-installs for all vehicles.
  • In-put all In-house inspections for all leased and owned vehicles into Verizon Connect
  • Provide support and assist with vehicle safety recalls
  • Aid with mechanic shop owners and workers
  • Bi-weekly vehicle mechanic check-in
  • Pick up vehicles as needed
  • Support drives and tours
  • Administers the Fleet policy to all new drivers
  • Provide support and assist with fleet vehicle accident
  • On time performance is a job requirement
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Driving experience within the NYC metro area.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MS Office
  • Valid NYS driver’s license
  • Dedicated to delivering quality work while providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to perform under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude and attire
  • New York City residence is required within 180 days of hire
  • All new hires must be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus as defined by the CDC, unless they have been granted a reasonable accommodation for religion or disability.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $57,000
