NYLABONE is Hiring a Facilities Technician Near Monroe, NJ

We are searching for a skilled and hands-on Facilities Technician to join our Manufacturing Team! In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and smooth operation for our production processes.
Measures Of Success
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Repair and maintain machinery and equipment used in production processes.
  • Assist with minor construction projects and renovations.
  • Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Respond to work order requests and emergency maintenance needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • May assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
