NYOS provides a unique learning experience where all students strive for academic excellence in a close-knit community. We strive to build leaders to serve and succeed in a global society. NYOS encourages excellence through service learning, brain-based teaching, and low student-teacher ratios.
Primary Role: Support the mission, purpose and goals of the ACE after-school program and create a safe and supportive environment where students can receive academic and enrichment opportunities during out -of-school time. Ultimately, all ACE activities focus on helping at-risk students meet state academic standards, with a special emphasis on pos-secondary education.

Work Environment: This job operates in a school environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands: This position is very active and involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
