Patient Advocate Representative

What You'll Do:
Ensure compliance with all state and federal HIPAA regulations.
Conduct home and field visits as needed.
Champion patients’ needs in securing government services.
Collaborate with external government agencies.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Provide top-notch customer service to patients, hospital staff, agency workers, management, and coworkers.
Stay self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Bonus Points For:
Previous Medicaid experience
Experience in a medical office or hospital setting
Insurance verification experience
Familiarity with hospital systems like EPIC, Cerner, or Citrix
What You Need:
High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
1 years of hospital experience
Experience with state and federal programs
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar industry
Basic office equipment proficiency (phone, fax, computer, email)
Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
