O'Connell Care at Home is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Greenfield location serving the greater Franklin County area. Monday - Friday only. NO WEEKENDS!

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Completes documentation timely, accurately, and at the point of care, according to industry standards, conventions and guidelines.
Schedule, document, and complete field staff supervision visits quarterly on all caregivers.
Ensure caregivers are following proper procedures, care plan and agency regulations. Provides training as needed.
Provides assistance and direction to problems encountered by both office staff and field staff.
Assess the needs of clients and the abilities of field staff to ensure the best possible care for clients.
Complete new client assessments, care plans, and updates as necessary.
Assist with new hire orientation and skills checks.
Coordinate case management of clients in collaboration with supervisor and office staff.
Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement.
Medication management and occasional skilled work with clients in the place that they call home
Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Possess a current and unencumbered Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Minimum of two years' experience in the health care field; homecare preferred
Possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, with a desire to be an effective member of the team
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Comfortability using various forms of technology and software (Wellsky)
Cognitive skills as related to the position.
Thorough understanding of Private Case vs ASAP Cases and their requirements
Ability to participate in the on-call rotation. NO in person on call responsibilities (phone calls only)!
Due to the nature of our business or a myriad of other factors, employees may need to work from home. For that reason, access to reliable secure internet service at home is required.
Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and ability to drive to our various locations as well as the locations of our clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
