We are seeking a dynamic, success-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. You will lead client development initiatives for the region, support technical staff, and contribute to other corporate needs. Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and capture plans for regional and corporate markets with support from senior leadership and the Director of BD & Marketing.
- Research and gather information on potential clients, projects, and target markets, with an emphasis on understanding the A/E/C industry and procedures.
- Initiate and develop contact with potential and existing clients to secure new business.
- Track future business opportunities and update business development plans accordingly.
- Make commitments for the firm under the direction of supervisors.
- Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates, aligning with the values of OCMI.
- Review potential opportunities and provide go/no-go recommendations.
- Work with technical staff to develop proposals for future work and coordinate with leadership on teaming arrangements for prime proposals.
Qualifications:
- Prior business development experience, preferably for construction, engineering, or architecture (A/E/C).
- Proven track record of success in developing, maintaining, and expanding a client base.
- Extremely proactive, detail-oriented, and organized, with outstanding time management skills.
- Excellent communication, research, and facilitation abilities.
- Understanding of business to business marketing principles Resides within the Las Vegas metropolitan area / Clark County, NV, with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
