The GloucesterPublic School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer, which actively seeks to increase the diversity of its workforce.PLEASE POST● Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate In coordination with the school principal Special Education Teachers andEducation Support Professionals.● Schedule, supervise and support Education Support Professionals.● Develop and oversee all special education programming including the following specialized programs:Social/Emotional, Learning Center, and Language Based.● Ensure the effectiveness of 8th grade transition to 9th grade leading efforts to work with the high school specialeducation leaders and programs● Liaison with community agencies, educational advocates and educational attorneys.● Serve as LEA coordinator for out of district students in day and residential placements, in collaboration with theDirector of Special Education and Principal.● Support the Director of Special Education and Principal with a variety of special education functions, includingstaff support, evaluating staff, program evaluation and resource management.Position will become effective for the 2024-2025 school year, with a start date of July 1, 2024.
