Perform various accounts payable and clerical tasks to assist the Transportation and Distribution Financials teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for separating and dispersing the daily mail for the department which includes multiple deliveries to A/P throughout the day.
Maintain the financial logs that track the incoming and outgoing financial documents.
Assist in basic auditing of invoices and financial documents.
Assist distribution centers and outside vendors with questions relating to transportation payables.
Reconcile corporate card statements and route for approvals.
Provide administrative support as needed within the transportation team to aid with phone coverage and the overall workload.
Maintain organized files and processes to ensure department accuracy.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Proficient in all Microsoft programs, data entry, and 10-key functions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Manage a workload consisting of multiple tasks
Desired:
Prior experience in a clerical position
