Position: Lead Glazier

Location: Oahu, Hawaii

Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of glaziers in the installation of frameless glass products according to company standards and client specifications.
• Measure and cut glass to precise dimensions, ensuring accurate fitting and alignment.
• Oversee the safe handling of glass and adherence to safety protocols on job sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues effectively, maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Communicate professionally with clients and contractors, providing excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a glazier, with proven expertise in the installation of frameless glass products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior glaziers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade certification or apprenticeship in glass installation or a related field.
• Experience with custom glass projects and knowledge of different glass types and applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
