Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you have a passion for mixology and creating memorable experiences for customers, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders in a prompt and friendly manner
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses, utensils, and equipment
- Engage with customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor alcohol consumption of customers to prevent over-intoxication
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar area
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender is required.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
- Must be at least 21 years old
