Oak Hill CC is Hiring a Bartender (PT) Near Fitchburg, MA
Oak Hill Country Club is a well-established, fully private, 18-hole golf and country club, steeped in over 100 years of history. We are looking for a classically trained bartender with high levels of experience and an established history in the industry. Ideally, the right candidate has worked in country clubs, golf clubs, social clubs, fine-dining, or comparable establishments. High volume/function/banquet/event experience is also a plus. Top levels of customer service and professionalism are expected at all times as member satisfaction is paramount.
Job details:
- Ability to work high-volume shifts in the restaurant, private functions, and golf tournaments
- Ability to build classic cocktails, mocktails, and established special drinks as well innovate new drink specials or cocktails on the fly depending on the wants/needs of the member or their guest
- Train new hires to mix drinks properly, serve drinks responsibly, and ensure customers are satisfied
- Collaborate on seasonal drink menus and invent several lucrative cocktail recipes
- TIPS Certification is mandatory
- History and understanding of successful food service
- Understanding of pairing food with wine/cocktails/beer is a plus
- Wine knowledge is a plus
- Understanding and application of working as a member of a team is a necessity
- Must be able to safely lift/move/carry objects up to or exceeding 50 lbs
- Weekend availability is a must
