Specific food offerings and job duties vary, depending on the location and type of concession stand. This role will pay an hourly wage of $10.65 plus tips. This job closes September 30, 2024 OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. About The VenuePeak is a premium restaurant located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards, in a State-of-the-Art building with panoramic views and situated above Edge, the highest outdoor observation deck in the city. A luxurious destination with breath-taking views of lower New York City. Responsibilities
Provide warm hospitality to all guests, provide prompt, efficient and timely customer service within a fast-paced environment, setting your main focus of the service operation to be speed and precision
Take accurate orders from guests in queue, prepare and serve food & beverage items, prepare bill and take payments.
Perform opening, closing and running sidework.
Clean & sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and work stations as necessary or on a schedule which will be set by management.
Have an in-depth knowledge of the ingredients and how to service the food and beverage items to enable you to answer customer questions with confidence.
Organize Food and Beverage display/ counter area to standards and restock all items to meet min par stock levels.
Work as a team with other servers, server assistant and food runner to provide better service.
Transportation and Installation of Equipment
Loading and unloading equipment to designated areas as required.
Transportation of equipment using handtrucks, dollies, or other moving equipment.
Navigate equipment through tight spaces and around obstacles safely.
Assist in the setup and installation of equipment at the destination.
Follow specific instructions for proper placement and configuration.
Qualifications
Knowledge of NYC DOH regulations
POS Knowledge
Good knowledge of Food and Beverage
Ability to work within a team, communication skills
Ability to lift/carry 40 pounds at any given time
Interest in the industry
Flexibility with schedule/weekend availability
The ability to positively affect others' actions, decisions, opinions or thinking
