Overview:
This position is committed to providing exceptional service for South Suburban Parks and Recreation, Parking Lots for all events and is responsible for the protection, outdoor protection and safeguarding of Guests and Employees and their vehicles. This position is committed to providing a positive first impression with World Class Service. The position requires physical activity including standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $17 to $19/ hour
For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities:
  • Controlling/monitoring entry to the guests’ parking lots
  • Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service
  • Match customer's ticket to parking rate schedule
  • Provide guests with directions and other basic park information
  • Direct guests to available parking spaces
  • Ability to maximize amount of vehicles per lot
  • Respond to all comments/complaints in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance during all scheduled shifts
  • Perform other duties as needed to ensure productive operations, quality service, and client and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
  • Prior parking experience strongly preferred
  • Customer Service abilities are a must
  • Must be polite, friendly and possess excellent interpersonal skills as this position has extensive guest and employee contact
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • The ability to work various hours as needed including nights and weekends
  • The physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
  • Ability to work outdoors with extreme heat and weather conditions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds with or without
  • Ability to visually observe close, distance, peripheral with or without
