Oakland Heights is hiring a Director of Staff Development to join our team to help provide quality and compassionate care to our patients. We are looking for a reliable, collaborative team member with exceptional critical thinking skills. We are located on a beautiful gated Senior Living campus.

Job Type: Full-time
The primary purpose of this role is to hire, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate the clinical education and staff development program implemented by the facility in accordance with current federal, state and county guidelines. This role also oversees the infection prevention program of the facility.
Education / Licensure
Completion of nurse training from accredited school or college
Valid license in good standing
Valid CPR and BLS card
Qualifications / Experience
Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred
Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day
Working throughout the nursing areas
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Lifting more weight up to 100 pounds requires assistance
