Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience working at the front desk of a medical or dental office
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Ability to manage medical records efficiently
- Preference for candidates with prior medical office work experience and proficiency in Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, or Bangla.
