What You’ll Do As a Program CoordinatorPrimary duties as a program coordinator:
Will supervise and coordinate daily assignments and procedures for unit staff
Development of new hires and program development for the child/adolescent direct care teams.
Interacts directly with youth and families. The frequency varies with needs, availability of residents, and acuity level.
Interacts frequently with therapists, physicians, and other employees involved in the case.
Regular interaction with community resources, providers, coordinate services and referral sources such as: DCS, court, probation, schools, and health care providers.
Minimum Hiring Requirements For a Program Coordinator
Bachelors Degree preferred; OR
Associates Degree with two years of experience working in a child caring institution; OR
HS diploma or equivalent with four years of experience working in a child caring institution, and two years of experience in a leadership capacity required.
