Oakley Home Access (OHA)
Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, Home Access Specialist
Rate: $60k Annual Salary plus company vehicle and other benefits
Work Location: On the road
Essential Job Functions:
Perform On-Site Free Home Safety Assessments per OHA protocols. Provide room-by-room safety assessment, providing verbal and written recommendations throughout.
Collaborating with Senior Technicians and Operations staff to create accurate plans and assessments.
Following up on assigned leads, in collaboration with front office staff, through telephone, written, and personal contact.
Leveraging professional skills to functions and goals of all products, equipment including but not limited to: Aluminum Modular Ramps, Stairlifts, Ceiling Lift, Vertical Platform Lift, Grab Bar Installation as well as a wide variety of other adaptive equipment from OHA inventory.
Secondary Job Functions:
Developing and maintaining accurate; complete assigned leads customer files, to enable easy tracking of an account’s progress and status of relationship. Detailed documentation in OHA use of customized CRM; email communication.
Maintaining weekly and monthly follow up activity reports; meeting weekly with owner and management.
Collaborating with Owner and Business development team to discuss referral opportunities, assigned leads challenges.
Attending occasional Senior Provider networking events and similar networking events in the community with potential referral sources; community resources.
Attending healthcare conferences and representing OHA at exhibitor tables.
Providing educational in-services both in person and virtual in collaboration with outreach representatives.
Qualifications:
· Ability to sell organically via education versus “selling”
· Requires excellent written, verbal commutation skills.
· Ability to manage diverse personalities; interact tactfully with individuals with disabilities, the
elderly, and healthcare providers.
· Ability to learn both functional and technical aspects of a wide variety of home access equipment.
· Basic understanding of entry level construction terminology and concepts preferred
· Valid CT State Driver’s License
· Agree to Background Check
