GENERAL FUNCTION The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining KPI reporting, and providing analytics support for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing groups. Elicit and document reporting requirements through interviewing clients and reviewing and analyzing existing reporting systems and processes. Translate functional specifications into technical specifications. Major Duties And Responsibilities
Partner with the business to understand the functional needs and develop KPI reporting that provides insightful and actionable analysis
Elicit and document functional and technical report specifications. Support solution development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, specification documentation, quality assurance, training, implementation and support
Gathers and documents reporting requirements, including refining functional specifications into technical specifications, develops reporting frameworks, writes and maintains standards and engages in continuous improvement within the organization
Analyze data for the following: problem identification, root cause identification, trends, measurement of key processes, improvement opportunities
Develop data structures to support the reporting requirements
Maintain expert knowledge of Department applications and interfaces between applications, reporting processes and data capture
Consult with clients, management and staff to determine reporting requirements, and ensure consistent process and data definitions in line with Operational Excellence concepts
Ensure reporting requirements and data output is in line with needs of the business to drive business and KPI efficiencies
Provide analytics support for Supply Chain and Manufacturing departments
Automate and Visualize data to provide the business with operational insight and to help them see problems in real time
Actively participate in business unit projects and/or initiatives as assigned
Works on one or more projects as a team member
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5 years of related professional experience
Expert level knowledge in Excel, Access and other MS Office tools
Knowledge of SAP, Business Objects. Power BI reporting tool
SQL Server management studio & Data Tools experience
Proficiency in Python or Pandas Programming
Server (VM) management
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts
Power BI: (Power Query, DAX, Visualization) experience
SAP/Business Objects experience
Knowledge of Oakley’s philosophy and operations
Pay Range: 100,355.52 - 142,742.22 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
