DescriptionAs a key member of our vibrant and dynamic organization, the Assistant General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee and enhance the operational excellence of our facilities. This role will support the strategic plans, financial performance, leadership, and day-to-day operations, contributing to the overall success of the Campground, RV Resort, and Restaurant. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position requires a strategic, hands-on professional with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, fostering growth and sustainability.
  • Assist in innovating and implementing initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience across all facilities.
  • Help ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the Campground, RV Resort, and Restaurant, maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to coordinate activities to optimize efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation.
  • Provide strong leadership, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Assist in conducting regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Support a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service standards.
  • Assist in implementing strategies to solicit and respond to guest feedback, continuously elevating the guest experience.
  • Support budget development and financial performance for each area, identifying opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
  • Assist in analyzing financial reports and implementing strategies to achieve financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure the upkeep of all facilities.
  • Assist in conducting regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for the campground, RV resort, and restaurant operations.
  • Work with marketing teams to support the development and implementation of promotional strategies to attract and retain guests.
  • Support the utilization of digital platforms and traditional marketing channels to increase brand visibility.
  • Foster positive relationships with the local community, collaborating on events and partnerships to enhance the overall image and impact of the facilities.
About You:
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of campground, RV resort, and restaurant operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
