DescriptionThe Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all guests receive outstanding customer service, and complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customers’ tastes and preferences.
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits.
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift.
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere.
- Performing some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
About You:
- 2 Years minimum experience with high-quality, high-volume bar operations
- Well versed in operating POS systems
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
- Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol.
- Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments.
- Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor.
- Exceptional organization and time management
- Great active listening skills
- Ability and willingness to collaborate.
- Knowledge of food/beverage service regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details.
