Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our private practice dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience in the dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills to ensure a top notch patient experience.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Coordinate patient check-ins and check-outs
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, and provide necessary information to patients
- Collaborate and communicate with the team to ensure seamless patient care
- Process insurance claims and verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and coding tasks
- Maintain working relationships with nearby businesses to coordinate marketing endeavors

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting; Dental assisting experience is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental office operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using office software and electronic medical records systems
