Busy multi-specialty spine and orthopedic practice is looking for a full-time highly organized, motivated person. The ideal candidate must have knowledge in the medical end of personal injury and excellent work skills. Responsibilities in this fast-paced, dynamic workplace include (but are not limited to):

· Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures

· Assign appropriate codes from provider documentation to include; assignment of ICD-10, CPT-4 codes and modifiers (when applicable)

· Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies

· Submit claims to insurance companies

· Demonstrate good communication and team work skills.

· Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology/ Medical terminology required

· Education: CPC, CCS and ICD-10 certified preferred

· Minimum 2 years of coding and billing experience required

· Strong Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology and insurance skills

· Excellent communication, follow up and interpersonal skills
