Assistant Brewer/ Brewer

Obed & Isaac’s is a microbrewery and eatery with locations in Springfield and Peoria, IL. The on site microbrewery produces all beer served in our adjacent restaurants and beer gardens.

The assistant brewer and/or brewer, will learn and assist with all brewing operations for this location, including, but not limited to, brewing, cellar work, packaging product, production planning, general cleaning, operation and upkeep of equipment, and maintaining quality control throughout all aspects of the brewing and cellar processes.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, mobile applications, and technology.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces.
• While primarily indoors, must be able to walk outside in weather conditions: Rain, wind, snow, and heat.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet environments.
• Must be able to climb stairs, use a ladder, work at heights above 10 feet, and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a vehicle.

Compensation

Competitive wages will be determined by experience and expertise. Further compensation may include health insurance. Benefit eligibility is dependent on job classification and hours worked. Complete details are outlined in the Conn’s Hospitality Group Employee Manual.
