Reports to: Director of Engineering and Maintenance

Status: Full Time

Available Shifts: 1^st shift Monday to Friday with possible overtime during the week/ends

Salary: $37-$40 per hour

Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and reliable Industrial Electrician to join our successful maintenance and engineering team. In this position, the prime responsibility is to support all electrical needs of the facility and its production equipment. Further, to use expert skills for electrical systems in special projects and improvements. Requirements include but are not limited to extensive knowledge and experience with preventive maintenance, keeping inventory of spare parts, install, examine, replace or repair electrical equipment, and troubleshooting electrical issues on all production related equipment.

The ideal candidate will require little to no supervision. Support and drive forward the fast pace improvement culture with a problem solver mindset and a strong work ethic attitude.

General Responsibilities

• An understanding of Basic Electronics
• Basic Electrician/Electronic Technician skills, PLC's temperature control, PID loops, RTDs, pressure level, humidity/moisture sensors, electronic scales, photoelectric sensors, etc.
• Install and maintain motors, motor control circuits, VFD drives, PLC’s, and 480v-power distribution.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Support with identifying critical spare parts and keeping inventory levels
• Troubleshooting all electrical and controls issues on facility and production equipment
• Electrical support on engineering projects for installing or decommissioning equipment
• Basic mechanical skills, support maintenance team in equipment reliability improvements
• Utilizes hand tools and common powered hand and shop tools

Qualifications Required

• At least 2-4 years manufacturing experience
• Successful completion of Associate Technical Degree or Electrical Apprenticeship
• NFPA 70E Certified
• Read, write, and understand English language
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• May have to work in coolers and freezers that reach -20 degrees
