Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator.
Project Coordinator – (Onsite – Kansas City, MO)
Major Responsibilities:
· Some experience working in IT, or if no experience at least an aptitude and interest to learn in IT.
· Open to wide variety of responsibilities; some may be more administrative, may PM small projects or act as Scrum Master, may plan and organize meetings, etc.
· Collaborative-will work across teams in IT and/or with other departments
· Strong interpersonal skills-will be regularly communicating with business (non-IT) and executive stakeholders
· The Project Coordinator is responsible for the support, coordination, and completion of daily tasks in support of the department. This role will work closely with IT Associates and business stakeholders to deliver successful project results and help the organization deliver positive results.
· Project Coordinator Responsibilities
· Provide support to the project management function, regardless of discipline (e.g., DevOps, Business, Operations, Technical).
· Coordinate meetings, create agendas, produce notes, and track action items.
· Facilitate communication between IT Associates, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives.
· Function as a liaison between different departments, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
· Use project management best practices to lead lower complexity project initiatives or project teams.
· Provide support to multiple in-progress projects, including project scheduling and planning, documentation, and testing.
· Understand high-level technical requirements for assigned projects.
· Monitor and evaluate project timeline and activity and report on progress to project managers and leadership.
· Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and project stakeholders and recommend solutions.
· Responsible for IT support activities including researching, creating, and editing documents and presentations for internal communications.
· Focus on skill and career development activities through continuous education, training, and mentoring opportunities.
· Assist with planning and facilitation of departmental meetings.
· Other projects as assigned.
· Project Coordinator Qualifications
· Possesses general knowledge of IT project management/coordination, PM processes and deliverables, and development lifecycle. Familiar with Agile processes and ceremonies.
· Strong organization and management skills.
· Willing to be flexible regarding assigned responsibilities.
· Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 4 years of relevant experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general project management tools.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
