Registered Nurse - Oncology Clinical Research
Our clinical research company is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Clinical Research Nurse.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Urology clinical research team. The RN will play a crucial role in conducting clinical trials and studies focused on oncology treatments and interventions. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the research team to plan, implement, and evaluate clinical research protocols in the field of oncology.
• Screen and enroll eligible participants into clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Perform patient assessments, administer study interventions, and monitor participants for adverse reactions or side effects.
• Educate patients and their families about the study procedures, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits.
• Collect and document patient data accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with protocol guidelines.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate study operations.
• Assist in the organization and implementation of study procedures, including specimen collection, imaging studies, and follow-up visits.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and research findings.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in oncology research and contribute to the dissemination of research results through presentations and publications.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in oncology nursing.
• Experience in clinical research or a strong interest in pursuing a career in research.
• Knowledge of oncology treatments, symptom management, and supportive care strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and data management systems.
