About the Role

We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join Technology Solutions as a People Advisor. In this role youll play a pivotal role in supporting our UK Technology Solutions team, reporting directly to the People Partner of your aligned business area.

You'll also have the chance to collaborate with additional business areas, ensuring a well-rounded and impactful experience.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will be the go-to expert for our internal stakeholders, providing top-notch, responsive advisory services.

Your expertise will guide employees and managers on a broad range of people matters, ensuring alignment with legislation, best practices, and Ocados policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Be the Expert : Offer high-quality advisory and support services to resolve workplace matters early.
• Advise and Guide : Provide advice on employee relations, covering performance, flexible working, absences, disciplinary actions, grievances, and appeals.
• Support Line Managers : Assist with practical advice to ensure consistent and compliant employee relations management.
• Train and Resolve : Deliver training on conflict resolution and alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Participate in Meetings : Act as People support in meetings, taking notes and ensuring all voices are heard.
• Manage Data : Maintain case management systems for accurate reporting and analytics.
• Inform and Collaborate : Keep People Partners updated on high-level or complex cases.
• Enhance Employee Relations : Contribute to positive employee relations through timely and accurate advice.
• Drive Improvement : Engage in continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the People Advisor Team Leader.
• Deliver Training : Conduct training programmes on relevant subjects.
• Stay Updated : Keep abreast of legislative changes and HR best practices.
• Analyze and Advise : Perform cost, benefit, and risk analyses for potential solutions.

About You

We're looking for someone with a proven background in an HR advisory role who excels in relationship and stakeholder management.

You should have extensive experience handling both simple and complex employee relations cases and a solid knowledge of UK employment law.

Your Skills and Qualifications :

• HR Expertise : Proven experience in managing employee relations cases.
• Stakeholder Management : Confidently liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Independent and Team Player : Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• HR Systems Knowledge : Experience with HR management systems, preferably Workday.
• Organisational Skills : Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Legislation Knowledge : Strong understanding of employment legislation.
